After she relocated to Rapid City in 2017 to live near her daughter, she was a resident at Fountain Springs Senior Apartments. She loved playing bingo and trying out new recipes on her neighbors. She didn’t let apartment living stand in the way of planting containers of flowers and vegetables each summer that graced the entrance and patio area. Jacque and Ray loved living near the Missouri River at Riverside Acres, boating, following their kids’ activities and spending time outdoors. Ray passed away on May 9, 1995, just months before they were to move into their home in Mission, TX.

As a child he enjoyed t-ball, baseball, and tormenting his older brothers. When Ted grew up, he enjoyed being outdoors and loved to hunt, fish and camp. Funeral services were held at 11 am on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 at the White River Community Center with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Mr. Robert Alfred Mincey, age 61, of Trion, GA, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Mincey was born April 3, 1961, in Rome, GA, son of the late Robert Lee and Jeanne Costello Mincey.

She was currently employed as a teller at Premier Bank. He enjoyed watching Dukes of Hazard, Hawaii 5 O, Home Improvement, Fast n Furious movies, anything with History and would watch YouTube videos on how to build things. His favorite food was spaghetti with summer corn and homemade fresh buns.

David also played football, basketball, and baseball if he was not hunting, fishing, or working. The summer before college, he worked at Homestake Mine. While attending Southern State University he was drafted into the Army. He was enlisted July of 1971 and honorably discharged December of 1972. He was deployed to Korea as a security guard in the DMZ for the United Nations. Dave received the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service in the performance of his duties as Squad Leader and won Expert Marksmanship as well.

The family lived in Mission, SD and then moved back to Jerry’s home town of Grandview, WA. Elsie spent most of her adult life in northern California where she married her husband Russell Newberg December 21, 1945. They lived there for several years before buying a home in Palo Alto and in 1962 bought a home in Livermore, California. Dorothy and Sam began their life together in Grand Island, Neb., where their son, Michael LeRoy, was born.

Tenney and Iva Brown were married on Aug. 11, 1958. To this union three sons were born, Tenney Eugene , Ronnie and Gary. Shortly after marriage Tenney and Iva moved to Deadwood where he was employed with the Homestake Gold Mine. After a few years they returned home to the ranch northeast of White River. Ranching, raising boys and life being tough, Tenney and Iva decided to lease the ranch and move to White River. Over the years he worked for local ranchers, George England, Lawrence and Ronnie Krogman and Bob Derry.

To this union, three daughters were born, Robin, Cheryl and Natalie. Claude and Anita lived on the ranch with his grandparents, Ed and Merle Bailey. It was on the ranch that Claude developed his love of horses with his favorite being Black Jack. He also hired out for Chuck Baker as a hay-grinder. Bromley loved Jesus and wanted to be at church, go to youth group, and learn about the Bible stories.

From the late 60’s to early 80’s he worked as a pickup man for rodeos run by Don Hight and Howard Beissinger. Partners for these jobs were usually Veldon Brown, Glen Hollenbeck or Alvin Stromer. The rodeos he traveled to, took him to several places in the United States and he also worked at Cheyenne Frontier Days at least two years. One year they had a rodeo in Louisville, KY. The horses went on the semi but the pickup men and contractors went by plane. Tenney also enjoyed team roping and would often compete at the rodeos he attended. He was born to Clarence and Ruth Hight on Oct. 20, 1938 in Murdo, SD. He was welcomed home by his older siblings, Phyllis, Cecil, Sharley, Clarice and Curtis.
